General conditions of sale

By placing an order on the online shop http://gelagel.it/, the Customer declares that he has read all the information provided to him during the purchase procedure, and that he fully accepts the general and payment conditions listed below.

Any right of the Customer to compensation for damages or indemnity is excluded, as well as any contractual or extra-contractual liability for direct or indirect damages to persons and/or things, caused by the non-acceptance, even partial, of an order. In the event of unexpected unavailability of the goods and non-acceptance of the order, no charge will be made to the Customer.

How to purchase

Correct receipt of the order is confirmed by the system by means of an e-mail response, sent to the e-mail address provided by the Customer. This confirmation message will report the Date and Time of the order, an "Order Number" to be used in any further communication with the system.

It is the Customer's responsibility to register with correct data and to keep such data updated using the access credentials.

The steps the user must follow to complete a purchase are as follows:

  • add items to cart
  • click on Go to Cart (or on the Cart icon in the menu)
  • possibly change the quantities of the products in the cart or delete them
  • Click Checkout at the bottom right of the cart page when you are ready to proceed with your purchase.
  • At this point, the user who does not have an account can register by clicking on the Register button on the right of the login form.
    • The user enters email and password and clicks on the Register button
    • A confirmation screen for the registration request appears, and at the same time an email is sent to the user who requested the registration.
    • The user must click on the link to confirm registration located in the email that was sent to him
    • By clicking this button, the user is taken back to the Gelagel website, where a message confirms that the registration has been completed.
    • At this point the user can normally view his cart, click on checkout and then log in (or in reverse order he can log in by clicking on Login from the menu and then visit the cart to proceed with checkout)
  • The user is asked (only the first time) for data to complete his customer profile, and specifically shipping and billing addresses.
  • Once the data has been entered, the user is asked:
    • Confirm the shipping address (just click Next, since the customer will have just entered this data for his customer profile)
    • Choose a shipping method
    • Confirm your billing address (just click Next again)
    • a cart summary
    • choose the payment method
    • to Confirm and send the order

With these steps, the order is completed.

Paypal and Credit Card

The purchase of goods is foreseen with the payment method Paypal or Credit Card. The transaction with Card takes place through the electronic system Paypal on a protected and encrypted internet connection according to the current standards of the online payment market. At no time during the purchase process and in no way is any member of staff able to know the Customer's credit card number.

By selecting this option, the delivery times of the goods may be extended by 1/2 days. If you urgently need to receive the goods, send us the receipt with the Transaction ID / SEPA (ex CRO) issued by the bank, the goods will be shipped immediately!

The cost of cash on delivery is equal to €4 of the cost of the order.

It is possible to pay by cheque only for amounts up to €300.00 (VAT excluded)

Delivery methods and costs

For each order placed on http://gelagel.it/, Gelagel issues an invoice for the material shipped, sending it via email to the person placing the order, pursuant to art. 14 DPR 445/2000 and DL 52/2004. For the issuing of the invoice, the information provided by the Customer at the time of the order is valid.

Shipping costs are explicitly highlighted when placing the order. Some promotions may offer discounts equal to shipping costs for orders over a certain value determined by the offer itself. Payment for the goods by the Customer will be made using the Credit Card or Bank Transfer method. Nothing more is due by the Customer than the total of the order.

Order processing times are approximately 72 hours. No responsibility can be attributed to Gelagel in case of delay in delivery of the ordered items by the couriers.

Upon delivery of the goods by the courier, the Customer is required to check:

  • that the number of packages delivered corresponds to that indicated in the transport document;
  • that the packaging is intact, not damaged, not wet or otherwise altered, including the sealing materials (adhesive tape or metal straps).

Any damage to the packaging and/or the product or the discrepancy in the number of packages or indications must be immediately contested, by placing a WRITTEN RESERVATION OF CONTROL on the courier's proof of delivery. Once the courier's document has been signed, the Customer will not be able to raise any objection regarding the external characteristics of the delivered goods.

Any problems concerning the physical integrity, correspondence or completeness of the products received must be reported within 7 days of delivery, according to the methods set out in this document.

In the event of failure to collect the material stored in the courier's warehouses within 5 working days due to repeated impossibility of delivery to the address indicated by the Customer when ordering, the order will be automatically cancelled.

Applicable law

The sales contract between the Customer and Gelagel srl is understood to be concluded in Italy and regulated by Italian Law. For the resolution of civil and criminal disputes arising from the conclusion of this distance selling contract, if the Customer is a consumer, the territorial jurisdiction is that of the reference court of his/her municipality of residence; in all other cases, the territorial jurisdiction is exclusively that of the Court of Bergamo.
